Rental Policies & Procedures

Additional events may be held in other areas of the zoo at the same time.
Insurance coverage for damage, loss and/or other liability is required in each instance of use of ZooMontana property.
Staff shall be present to oversee the facilities during the event, to answer questions, and to close after the event.
For a wedding, rehearsal must be scheduled the day/night before. Facility Use Policy applies to rehearsals.
Bathroom facilities are available only during normal operational hours. During after hours and/or in the instance of a larger group, you may provide alternate, portable facilities.
The Homestead House (no bathroom facilities) is available for use as a changing room, in the event that no other activities are taking place during that time.
No rice, birdseed, balloons, or confetti may be thrown/used on zoo grounds.
Prior approval must be made to serve alcohol at an event. The alcohol must be served by a caterer endorsed with a liquor endorsement license.
No smoking is allowed on zoo grounds.

ZooMontana offers only the facility and tents. Tables, chairs, flooring, etc. will need to be rented from a party rental supplier.

In order to reserve the day that you would like, we recommend that you book 6 - 7 months in advance.

Contingency Planning

We recommend having an alternate location, or subsequent arrangements made, in case of inclement weather.

In the event that a wedding or reception is cancelled up to 15 days before the event, only the deposit may be returned.
