Zooper Tours

Zooper Tours

ZooMontana is excited to start Zooper Tours, a new option for groups who want to visit the zoo and get up close and personal with the keeping staff and animals.

The three-hour Zooper Tours will begin in August and be offered all year long. They will include an introduction to the zoo from ZooMontana Director Jackie Worstell and be guided by Science and Conservation Director Dr. Jay Kirkpatrick. This tour is designed for small groups of 10 to 15 adults and requires one to 1.5 miles of walking.

After exploring the grounds, the tour will head to the Science and Conservation Center where conservation science programs at the zoo are discussed. Demonstrations of animal immobilization and vaccination will be provided, with some level of participant involvement. The tour will conclude in the Homestead House with a wine and hors d'oeuvres or mimosa-and-brunch reception.

The cost is $250 per table group, and reservations need to be made a couple of weeks in advance so zoo personnel may coordinate their schedules for the tour.
